ROUBA,Ahogados en la seguridad de la rutina automata, representa aquello que nunca queremos llegar a ser. La mejor forma de evitar esta condicion es tenerla siempre presenta. Saber que ante el menor descuido, casi sin darte cuenta podes empezar a transformarte en uno.
ROUBA
El objetivo de este proyecto, es hacer de ROUBA un icono, que represente el automatismo del ser, el conformisimo a traves de una seguridad ficticia.
La idea es que se propague, que esté siempre a la vista, para que nos recuerde lo que no queremos ser y que ellos se sientan reflejados y descubiertos ante su imagen.

Brian Marki Fine Art located in Portland Oregon is presently hosting an open call for artists to present for the month of December. The goal of this show is to host affordable work for the holiday gift giving season, and we'll be turning the gallery into a salon styled playground of fun and inexpensive art. We're looking to show custom toy design, graffiti inspired art, paintings, prints, sculpture, t-shirts and clothing, etc. The basic things that we're looking for in the submissions are a playful quality, and a wholesale pricing that falls below $250. Submission deadline is October 31st, and selected art must be in hand by November 16th. If you are interested in applying send jpegs of your available work along with contact info, wholesale pricing, and "December Show" in the subject line to Submissions@Brianmarki.com. Please do not send us links to websites as this call is being sent out to hundreds of artists, and I am only one person that is sifting through all these submissions.
